Skillet Corn with Basil

Servings: six

Ingredients

6 ears of corn, shucked
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
½ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
½ cup basil, chopped

Directions

Trim the bottom of the corn to create a flat surface.  Stand corn up and slice kernels from the cob.

Heat butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.  Add the corn, salt and pepper and sauté for 5-7 minutes.  Remove from heat, toss in the basil and  serve immediately.
