
Caprese Sub
Servings: six
Ingredients
6-8 heirloom tomatoes, sliced
1 pound fresh mozzarella, sliced
½ cup basil chiffonade (thinly sliced)
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar
Kosher salt
Fresh ground pepper
6 whole wheat sub rolls
Directions
Cut the rolls in half, lengthwise. Brush with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Layer slices of tomato and mozzarella on the bread. Top with basil and season with salt and pepper.
