Alex’s Lemonade Stand is committed to finding cures for childhood cancer. The majority of their funding goes to research, but also assist families with financial, travel and educational needs. Breast Intentions supports individuals and their families who are fighting breast cancer. Their mission is to help families deal with the consequences of the diagnosis by providing emotional, spiritual and financial support. The IIIB’s Foundation (Bosom Buddy Baskets) provides gift baskets filled with resources and comfort items to help women through their battle with breast cancer. The founder, Carolyn Rodenburg, is a breast cancer survivor and personally designs the baskets.
Life with Cancer helps cancer patients and their families meet the challenges of coping with this disease through education, counseling and a variety of other services. This organization follows a holistic approach, treating mind, body and spirit. We had a chance to personally tour this facility and were so impressed by all the wonderful things these folks are doing. They rely on donations from the public and could use your support.
Mini’s Mission “Burn Rubber To help Another” raises money to help families with children who are battling cancer. Timmy original started this organization to help his 6-year old friend. Her struggle inspired him to raise money to help families like hers. Donations go to support basic living expenses. Check out their site to see how you can get involved.

St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity committed to funding the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancer. This charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Colin will shave his head once again this year to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer and to raise money to find cures. Teardrops to Rainbows, based in Fairfax Virginia provides support, services and financial assistance to area children with cancer and their families. Donations are tax deductable.
