Grilled Tuna with Oregano Lemon Butter
6 (6-ounce) tuna steaks
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
2 teaspoons fresh oregano, chopped
1 lemon, zest and juice
Kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper
To make the seasoned butter: place the butter, 1 tablespoon olive oil, oregano, lemon juice and zest in a small food processor. Pulse until combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Preheat grill over indirect medium heat. Rub tuna steaks with remaining olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill the tuna for 3-4 minutes per side.
To plate, fan slices of tuna on a dish and top with a some of the seasoned butter.Tags: Fish/Seafood, Spring Fever —
